Chennai Manipuri Forum (CMF) - COVID19 Emergency Fund - Urgent & Important

We hope you and your family are safe and staying at home during this COVID19 lock down. We are in touch with all our members and we are happy to inform you that all our members are safe and sound. As we all are aware, due to the lock down there has been a closure of several businesses - salons, restaurants, shops, etc. We are in touch with several of our brothers and sisters who work in these unorganized sectors and their salaries has not be paid for the non-working days of March and April. Their rations are running out fast and they will need help and support. 

Our CMF Executive Committee and Advisory Committee held a meeting recently to gauge the situation and is closely monitoring the progress. We are also in touch with the Tamil Nadu Government and Manipur State Government officials with whom we are working on distributing ration which is scheduled to kick off this week. To render further support, we are reaching out to you for raising a CMF COVID19 Emergency Fund. Your donation will help a family or an individual (s) who need support during these tough times. There will be a detail audit trail and record of total fund collection and utilization. You might also be contacted by one of our EC members as a courtesy reminder and in case of any further clarifications, you might need in this regard.
